Threads of Destiny: Neitras vol.1 is an adult fantasy RPG being developed on the RPG Maker MV engine.

Our game is planned, in the form of a trilogy, the events of which occur in their unique universe.

The first part of the game trilogy, which we are currently working on, tells you the story of the formation of the first protagonists. The world of the game is filled with magic, secrets of the past, politics, betrayals, and, of course, love and sex. You will get acquainted with the stories of all the characters surrounding the main characters and the choices that you make walking through the game will affect the fate of this or that in-game character.

• Devian – He deals with the location development, plot, programs and other stuff.
• Agnessa – She deals with the pixel and game art, location designs.
• Juliana - our cherished translator. She also helps to fill the world of the game with sprite-characters!

Initially, we had our own dreams: someone wanted to write, someone wanted to draw and someone wanted to translate books. One day we combined our desires. Thus, how we started working on our first game. We all constantly improve our skills, so that our first game becomes more fascinating and good-looking.

Problem is that when I press F8 nothing happens

I like this game. Its a really nice ride that takes me to some nostalgic memories of times when I used to played RPGs like these.

I do like the story, but for me the art style is kinda rough but in a good way (I don't really know what words to describe it as) like it puts me on a vibe that this is a world is filled with malice (just like ours). I don't wanna say realistic but its kinda like that (not as if looks like real life but more like FEELS like reality).

Its a nice set of mystery and curiosity on my part to find out what has happened/changed since the Mc left that drives me to talk to pretty much everyone in the game to find it out. Plus the game will work as a trilogy... DUDE I Am Sold!

I like what I see and played. Hope u good wishes creating this game developers.

I do have to point that I have not played with the recent version yet so my thought on the game might be different and more be more complex as I replay it now. I might edit this if I feels so... -_-

Sardo is about 27-28 at the current flow of the events. We don’t have Discord, but we want to create a channel as soon as we have more free time.

There is no pregnancy in the game now. But if the plot requires something like that, it will appear closer to the end of the game.

I'm part way into Ch.1 and so far I'm loving this game. The artwork and animation is really good. Following the story right now is not hard but not easy either. The characters are pretty fun and unique. I can't wait to see the rest of the game as it gets closer to being finished.

EDIT: I take back what I said about the story took me playing it after getting some sleep to realize what was confusing me lol

Yeah, Chapter 1 in version 0.2.1 is ready for about 30%, not to mention that there is Chapter 2 and Chapter 3 :-D The game needed a considerable revision, which we had been up to for some time, and starting with version 0.2.2 we completely focused on the continuation of the plot.

I love this game too. I think this is the most beautiful RPG-Maker game i've seen. Good work.

DAMN this game has come together

the last time I played this was version 0.0.4!

There is little left from version 0.0.4 in the game. We changed a lot in it, including the plot. Mainly, that applies to the versions coming after 0.2.0. :)

I can't seem to get the game to install on the itch.io app. I hit install, pick the direct link, and it starts but then it stops and the install button is there again. I don't know if the link is broken or what is going on, but I can't get it installed.

Perhaps the problem is that the links were deleted. I apologize for that. But, now there is a recent version of the game. It’s better to start playing the game from version 0.2.1 :)

I've just played through the first Artaun visit. I think the game seems very promising and I am looking forward to see the further development of the game, but I have some critic, especially after that segment.

Firstly, I hope you are going to have someone go through and clean up the dialog at some point, maybe closer to release. The quality of the English is very varied, occasionally being OK , but sometimes it's just flat out horrible (and I am not talking about characters who are supposed to have a perfect mastery of the language). I also feel like a loot of the dialog just goes on and on without adding anything of value, making it very tiresome to read (e.g. the Town Hall dialog, especially with the wives). Another, more minor problem with the dialog is the Elli prologue where a lot of the dialog is repeated from the Sardo prologue, but with some new thoughts thrown in which prevents you from using the skip function.

Second, I really don't like some of the characters outfits, especially Elli and Umi. They do not feel like they fit into the targeted setting. The first outfit you buy Elli looks like something you'd see in the real world, a tank top with short skirt, showing some midriff. I much preferred the first dress she had which, although it would be inappropriate to wear in public, atleast looked like it could belonged in the world. The outfit you buy in Artaun too me looks like a fantasy adventure-version of the previous out, but showing more midriff. This one could work fit in, looking more rugged, but not as regular clothes but as a adventure getup or something and not regular clothes. It is better than the previous one, but does not look the high fashion I'd expect from that store. Umi's clothes are terrible though, and I really don't like that the main insists that it's good. I ended up playing the shop scene twice because of Umi's clothes. The first time I told Umi to get some proper clothes when she first put one the nightgown-ish dress. Then when I got to see the final outfit, I reloaded hoping that I could get here to wear the dress instead (which despite being inappropriate at least looks plausible for the world, although it's cut ridiculously low) because of how much I disliked her outfit, which ofc. didn't do anything.

My third point is a much more personal opinion. I hate Umi. I hate the way she looks, I hate how she behaves and, as previously mentioned, I hate her outfit which feels completely out of place, which makes some sense since she is from another world, but I think that the player should be able to interfere with her choice of clothes and not be a complete cuck. I also hates how rarely the player are given the opportunity to put her in her place and reprimand her for her rudeness and arrogance. She alone is kind of putting me off playing the game, which is a shame since I think it might become a great game.

Take what you will from this little rant, but you may disagree with all of it. The only thing which I objective ought to be improved is the language in the English version since it at times is nonsensical. Once again, I do think the game looks promising and I think it will be good regardless. I may be the only one who has some of these problems with the game for all I know XD.

I agree with you on most of the things you covered. The previous versions of the game suffered from low-quality translation. But from version 0.2.0 and on, we pay more attention to both proofreading and cleaning localization. Although I doubt that we achieved a high-level translation, we corrected most of the errors and put the whole English text into the most appropriate form. We did the best we could.
It took us about half a year to change and modify the game: we improved both some interface elements and some mechanics significantly. The result of that work can be seen in version 0.2.1. The changes also affected the plot: lots of stuff was changed.

As for the appearance, and the characters of the heroes, I want to comment here in more detail.

We agree that Elli’s clothes were inappropriate, especially the first set that Sardo bought for her in Aklorion. As for the second set, maybe there is something wrong with it, but we like it. Elli will get something new later, so everything will gradually change as the game develops.
As for Umi, it’s a different story. Yes, her first iteration, in the form in which she was before version 0.2.1, was an annoying character. I tried too hard to create an irritable character. In version 0.2.1, we strongly revised both her appearance and her nature as well as many events related to her. Perhaps she is still annoying, but now she has something more to catch the players’ attention.

If you have time to play the game again, we will be interested to know if your opinion about Umi will change, as well as about the whole game.
