To use this you need at least 2 repair pads and acarryall(the plane) and 2 different bases. Firsttell a unit from 1 base and tell it to repair itat another base. The carryall will pick up theunit and carry it to the other base. The unitdoes not even hve to be repaired. Note: this doesnot work for footmen.

Since the game engine only checks the population cap at the time of first ordering a unit, it's possible to go over the cap, by reaching 49/50 and then simultaneously ordering units from multiple buildings.

After winning the last mission with the HouseHarkonen, the Emperor speaks of releasing theSaudukar in the FMV sequence that follows. TheseSaudukar are the infantry units that make up mostof the Emperor's light infantry. They are theones that wear the helmet with the black 'visor'.To be able to use this unit, you must attack theEmperor first on the last mission with any house.The Emperor is the purple base/fleet. Bring anengineer to the battle when you attack him. Then,take control of the Emperor's palace. You can nowbuild Saudukars from your barracks.

When fighting the Atreides, build a line ofmissile towers. Build the missile towers allaround your base to avoid airstikes from theAtreides.

Do not attack the enemy, let them come to you.When you start, do not build Weapon Factories.Instead, build Cannons and Missile Turrets. It isa good idea to build Trikes and Quads to act asscout lookouts. Try not to build too fast or youwill run out of money when they attack. The mostimportant thing is to not put all of yourdefenses in one place.

On the Atreides missions where Fremen areavailable, send about six Fremen at a time tocover areas of prime targets. Have them staystill until enemy defenses are low. Fremen arehard to spot when they stay still, so you canbuild massive attack squads.

You do not need to put concrete underneath anentire building. If the building has a dirtpatch, just cover the actual building portion andleave the dirt patch on regular sand. This willsave on spice and the number of concrete slabs tobe built.

When you have built a big enough army for asuccessful attack, make sure to use the team hotkeys that are described in the manual for thebest efficiency when in a dog fight. Once all theunits in the attack force have been highlighted,start to move each team at a time to differentpoints among the map. Keep in mind that someunits are much faster than others, so make thedifferent points relatively close together --make sure that the faster units wait for theslower ones. If they do not it would defeat thepurpose of bringing all the units in a team. Evenif you make teams with the same units, theability to click from one group to another duringbattle is far better than to keep highlightingeach group of units when you want to controlthem. Once in battle you can rotate from onegroup of units to another and focus their attackon focal points in either the opponent's army orbase structure (large heavily defended units andstructures such as a construction yard, heavyfactory and repair facility, etc.) This strategyresults in quicker more effective attacks withless of your units lost.
